Helping people to optimise their health to be at their best through every life stage really motivates me as a chiropractor. I very much enjoy utilising a wide array of chiropractic techniques and a holistic full-body focus tailored to each individual the focus is on functional restoration for decreasing pain, improving movement and optimising wellbeing. The clinical aspects of building mastery in my hands-on role in releasing stress and tension from the spine and nervous system to help people's bodies heal and function as well as possible is really rewarding. I also focus on health and lifestyle education, and collaboration with other healthcare professionals for best health outcomes. Always doing post-graduate seminars to learn more, I find working with families and our local communities to be a great privilege.

Originally from Taupo, New Zealand, I've been practicing since 2012. After locuming in Christchurch, New Zealand after the earthquakes, I practiced for 8 years in Far North Queensland, Australia where I ended up co-owning four practices with my best friend from chiropractic college. I moved back to NZ in 2021 and after a stint of locuming in the South Island, my wife Charlotte and I took over Wass Chiropractic in Thames, New Zealand, which has since become Evergreen Chiropractic. Having recently moved back to Charlotte's home of Cornwall and spending time locuming in Ireland and the around UK, we're really excited to have brought Evergreen Chiropractic to our lovely town of Fowey!

Getting people back to doing the things they enjoy is what I find most rewarding about physiotherapy. I love the variety of working in musculoskeletal care — from helping someone regain mobility and confidence after injury, to working with athletes returning to sport. I take a holistic, personalised approach, combining hands-on therapy, exercise rehabilitation, and education to help people understand their condition and manage their recovery.

I've been practicing MSK physiotherapy for 11+ years across NHS and private settings — specialist roles in Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire, and most recently as a First Contact Physiotherapist here in Cornwall. I've worked in outpatient clinics, GP surgeries, fracture clinics, and orthopaedic wards. I also had the privilege of working with the first-team and academy medical teams at Barnsley and Burnley Football Clubs, which deepened my understanding of acute sports injuries and rehabilitation.

First-Class Honours degree in Physiotherapy, registered with CSP and HCPC. I'm passionate about continuing professional development to provide evidence-based, individualised care.

 

Outside the clinic, I'm an outdoors person — surfing is my greatest passion, along with climbing and running. So I genuinely understand how frustrating it is when injury stops you doing what you love. I'm really excited to be working at Evergreen and to be part of the Fowey community.

I love looking after the whole family, and I combine a very gentle approach to hands-on chiropractic care with CranioSacral therapy and Network Spinal work to release tension from the spine and nervous system, helping bodies heal and function optimally.

 

I'm particularly skilled in supporting pregnancy and postnatal care, treating infants and children with plagiocephaly and developmental delays, and working with young people through growth and activity. My passion is working with the cranial system, helping people through release of tension at the base of the skull and head systems, that travel down the spine to the pelvis. These techniques help people a lot with headaches, migraines, stress and tension, vertigo, dizziness and coping capacity. The release of tension in the craniosacral system allows the depth of breath to expand allowing a much better flow of energy through the body and mind. It's a lovely technique.

I have helped babies with brachycephaly and plagiocephaly, which is where the head has flat parts to it. Babies have gone away improved after one session which is incredible. Training in Inspiral Paediatrics allows me to identify babies developmental delays and apply techniques which have been shown to create change. Further training in Spinning babies allows me to help mothers very late into their pregnancy with babies positioning before and during labour.

I grew up in Cornwall and studied dance at Cornwall College in St Austell before pursuing a Master's degree in Chiropractic in Wales. Since qualifying, I've practiced across Scotland, Cornwall, Australia, and New Zealand — gaining diverse experience in women's and family care. My background in dance gives me a unique understanding of movement, rehabilitation, and the body's natural healing capacity.

 

After 5 years in Far North Queensland, Australia, where I developed my expertise in helping people with specialised gentle techniques, Tim and I moved back to New Zealand in 2021, then recently returned full circle to my beloved Cornwall.
